Jigsaw Melodies is a bespoke music and video service run by Liverpool-based songwriter and producer Tom McConnell. Tom is a composer and instrumentalist who graduated from Abbey Road Institute in 2019 with a distinction in production and engineering. From his home studio he has created soundscapes, soundtracks and sound-a-likes covering a range of styles for clients like Right Angle Films, Gemfields and more.

Tom's speciality areas are dreamy psychedelia, indie-rock, folk, britpop, electronica, mellotrons, accurate sound-a-likes, cover versions with a twist and The Beatles. He is also a freelance session musician with perfect pitch and over 15 years experience on guitar, bass and keys. He has provided instrumentation to songs by many artists including China Crisis.

Alongside Jigsaw Melodies, Tom creates the songs, artwork and videos for his surreal-pop project Novelty Island who recently played at Glastonbury Festival and are often featured in Abbey Road Institute recording studio lectures at Abbey Road Studios, RAK and Damon Albarn's 13 Studios.
